CHILDREN under five are invited to have a ball on Saturday December 13 when a brightly-coloured ball pool is installed in the heart of Lakeside Shopping Centre.
The Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC) are installing the ball pool so passers-by can bring along their young children to play and enter a prize draw to win it for their child’s nursery, pre school or childminder.
They can also find out more about Early Years Professional Status – a graduate programme for people working in childcare – and how Early Years Professionals are beginning to make a real difference in children’s development.
There will be a chance to speak to Local Authority representatives and local Training Providers from the area to find out about the Early Years Professional programme.
The ball pool will be in place all day, with the winning entry drawn at 4pm.
