The transformation of Thurrock from a once dominent white working class borough in Essex to an extension of London's multi ethnic black and asian city looks set to be complete by 2030.
In an exclusive poll on this site we are asking white folk this question.
If you had Black or Asian neighbours living either side of you, would you consider moving?
Astonishingly 42% of Thurrock people have so far said that they would move rather than live amongst Black and Asian families.
If this poll turns out accurate as most polls do then depressing times really are ahead for the natives of Thurrock.
