A FORMER reality TV contestant from Thurrock has denied assaulting a man in a violent Christmas Eve attack.Jack Collins, 20, of Ashway, Corringham, pleaded not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm at Basildon Crown Court.
He is alleged to have assaulted the man in Corringham, in December last year.
In 2008, Collins appeared on Channel 4’s reality programme Shipwrecked, where contestants battled it out on two desert islands in the South Pacific.
He was released on unconditional bail and ordered to return for a trial at the court on February 9, next year.
