Tilbury hairdressers climb a mountain for charity

STAFF from the Classic Hair Company in Tilbury have raised £1000 for charity by climbing to the top of mount Snowdon in North Wales.

The money was divided between the Thurrock Deaf Youth Group and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Salon owner Geoffrey Wiseman said: “The girls from the salon said ‘Never again’ but were proud and jubilant although very exhausted once they had completed the climb, but they found it all worthwhile when they came to meet the fabulous children from the Deaf Youth Group.”
