Senior citizens complex gets garden makeover thanks to having a councillor on the Cherwell Grove Committee

SOUTH Ockendon’s Cherwell Grove Committee have enhanced a senior citizen’s complex thanks to a donation from the Chestnut Farm Nursery.

The South Road-based nursery donated plants which the committee used to enhance the raised garden and rose garden in the Helford Court Senior Citizens Complex, which is based in Cample Lane.

Committee secretary Sue Gray, said; “Both the residents and the warden were pleased with the results.

“Our thanks must go to Chestnut Farm Nursery owned by Mr and Mrs Price for their kind donation and support of Helford Court.”
