Aveley Bowls Club lend their support to Little Havens Children's Hospice

AVELEY Bowls Club have raised £600 for Little Havens Children’s Hospice with a music evening and collections throughout the season.

The club presented hospice community fundraiser Donna Byrne with a cheque at their Annual Presentation Night at Tilbury Community Centre on Saturday November 9.

The club raised £300 with a music evening, helped by the Pure Entertainment Music Company, and raised the rest of the money with collections by club members.

Donna Byrne said: “It was a remarkable evening.

“Congratulations to all the trophy winners and a big thank to all our supporters.

“ I am thrilled at the news that Aveley Bowls Club will continue to support Little Havens next season.”
