Thurrock Lakeside raise thousands for Children in Need

LAKESIDE Shopping Centre raised £4,208 for Children in Need at the weekend, beating last year’s total.

The money was raised through a prize draw which included prizes donated by various retailers throughout the centre, and a table football competition.

Sophie Hallett, Lakeside’s Marketing Manager said: “We’re so pleased with the huge amount of money raised by Lakeside for Children in Need.

“Thank you to everyone who took part and made it such an enjoyable and fun day.

“All money donated will go towards helping change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.”
