Basepoint raise funds for hospice with teddy bears picnic

A TEDDY Bears Picnic organised by a group of Tilbury businesses has raised £340 for Little Havens Children’s Hospice.

The landlord Basepoint, who match-funded the donations, handed over the cheque to hospice Community Fundraiser Donna Byrne at a recent fundraising coffee morning.

Donna said: “Employees at Basepoint are providing so much support for the charity, not only monetary but several workers have signed up for the Santas on the Run event on 7th December.

“Allison Lincoln has been a great ambassador for Little Havens within the teams.”
