Staff at Co-op get chance to shine

A CO-OP distribution warehouse in the borough has teamed up with Thurrock & Basildon College offering employees the chance to take further education courses at work.

Staff at the West Thurrock depot have the opportunity to take whichever course they want to aid their own personal development – from wine tasting to IT. skills.

The Co-op held a launch party for the new service at the depot in Oliver Road. They also celebrated getting the results back for the first group of staff members who passed a literacy course.
