CHILDREN at Arthur Bugler Junior School in Stanford-le-Hope welcomed parents and grandparents to their Harvest Festival Celebration recently.Each year group performed a variety of songs and poems and teachers were overwhelmed by the generous gifts of food which had been donated.
The children helped to decorate the colourful harvest boxes and these were then distributed to local organisations, which included Collins House, the Christian Fellowship Homes and Kynock Court.
Teacher Alyson Carson said: "Everyone at the school would like to thank parents for their continued support in providing assistance to the local community."
